SABC's Distance Learning Department was started in the year 2002 by offering Master of Divinity
(Integrative) programme. This programme sought to draw the strength of both Distance Education
and the Residential programme to help candidates upgrade their B.Th. to an M.Div.
The Distance Learning Department of the Southern Asia Bible College (SABC-DL) was launched as the
Global School of Open Learning of Centre for Global Leadership Development in the year 2012. The
Centre for Global Leadership Development is the umbrella organization under which Southern Asia
Bible College (SABC), Global School of Open Learning (GSOL) and Global School of Counselling (GSC)
operate.
